Basketball Recap: Rockledge Comes Up Short

Rockledge lost against Titusville last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockledge Raiders lost 59-33 to the Titusville Terriers. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Rockledge still got an impressive performance from Jordyn Bradley, who went 7 of 15 on her way to 18 points along with five boards and three steals. Bradley is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played.

It was another big night for Kennedie Sanders, who went 12 of 28 en route to 30 points along with eight steals and seven boards for Titusville. Those 30 points gave Sanders a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Emonie Moore, who posted 18 points and five steals.

Rockledge's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Titusville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Rockledge will venture away from home to square off against Merritt Island Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Titusville, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cocoa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Titusville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
