Baseball Recap: Quanah Takes a Loss

Quanah came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Seymour Panthers by a score of 17-15 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 on Tuesday.

Quanah's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. As for Seymour, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Quanah will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Floydada at 5:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for Seymour, they will be playing at home against Windthorst at 5:00 p.m. on March 18th. One thing working in Seymour's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
