Basketball Recap: Paris Comes Up Short

Paris lost against Ozark back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Paris Eagles came up short against the Ozark Hillbillies, falling 67-45. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Hillbillies are ranked 101st).

Paris' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Ozark, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paris will venture away from home to square off against Cossatot River at 5:00 p.m. on January 7th. As for Ozark, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Waldron at 7:00 p.m. on January 10th.
