Volleyball Game Preview: Bear River Bears vs. Sky View Bobcats

Bear River hasn't had much luck against Sky View recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Bears will host the Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, Bear River didn't have quite enough to beat Stansbury and fell 3-2.

The 3-2 doesn't really show just how close this match was: all the sets Bear River lost were decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 25-22, 20-25, 19-17.

Meanwhile, Sky View lost 3-0 to Green Canyon on Tuesday. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Wolves recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11, 25-15.

Bear River will have to contain Abby Thatcher as she made an impact in Sky View's last game. She had 16 digs.

Sky View's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Bear River, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-13.
