Flag Football Recap: Torres Extends Winning Streak to Three

Torres had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Maywood CES Wolfpack 9-6.

Torres didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Adrienne Garcia.

Torres' victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Maywood CES, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolfpack beat Torres by a score of 18-0 later that day.
