Osceola lost to Melbourne back in February of 2025, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Kowboys came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs, sneaking past 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kowboys.

Ethan Grant looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

At the plate, Jeremiah Guerra was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.

Osceola's record now sits at 2-3. As for Melbourne, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Osceola will venture away from home to take on St. Cloud at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Kowboys 3, the Bulldogs 2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Melbourne, they will head out to challenge Cocoa Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
