Frankfort is 1-8 against Twin Lakes since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Frankfort Hot Dogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Twin Lakes Indians at 7:30 p.m. Frankfort has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Frankfort is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against Northwestern on Saturday, falling 72-48. The Hot Dogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-24.

Frankfort's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Charlie Beardsley, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds, and Lucas Waggoner, who posted 13 points. Those 13 points gave Waggoner a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Michael, who had seven points and three steals.
Even though they lost, Frankfort smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Twin Lakes' matchup on Saturday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. They breezed by Rensselaer Central to the tune of 64-33. The game marked the Indians' most dominant victory of the season so far.
Twin Lakes found their leader in sophomore Keaton Miller, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for Miller. Leo Dellinger was another key player, putting up ten points and six assists.
Twin Lakes has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Frankfort, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Frankfort has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 22 boards per game. However, it's not like Twin Lakes struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
