Soccer Game Preview: Heritage vs. Brookville

The Heritage Pioneers will face off against the Brookville Bees at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Heritage's offense. They lost 7-0 to Glass on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Heritage can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 119th, while Glass are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, Brookville didn't have quite enough to beat Liberty Christian on Tuesday and fell 2-1. Brookville have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Cooper Bradshaw, who's now up to four this season.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Brookville, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-4-1.
