Basketball Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

Sequoyah lost to Wagoner back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 52-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Sequoyah has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Wagoner, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-13 record this season.

While Sequoyah had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
