You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Etowah's strategy against Lincoln on Friday. The Blue Devils strolled past the Golden Bears with points to spare, taking the game 44-28. The Blue Devils' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Lincoln had strong showings from Nic Catlett, who threw for 272 yards and four TDs, and Jamicheal Ellis, who picked up 105 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Etowah's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Lincoln, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
