Graham Local had lost seven games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-10 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Urbana Hillclimbers 10-8. The Falcons' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last four games.

As for Urbana, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss they have suffered since March 26, 2024.

For Urbana's part, Morgan Boyd led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Alivia Preston, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
