Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Lutheran Saints vs. Culver Bulldogs

The Trinity Lutheran Saints will venture away from home to take on the Culver Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Culver took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Trinity Lutheran, who comes in off a win.

Last Tuesday, Trinity Lutheran strolled past Lowell with points to spare, taking the game 51-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Saints.

Meanwhile, Culver came up short against Bonanza on Tuesday and fell 30-23.

Trinity Lutheran's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Culver, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Trinity Lutheran took their win against Culver when the teams last played back in May of 2021 by a conclusive 60-35. Will Trinity Lutheran repeat their success, or does Culver have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
