Basketball Recap: Joseph City's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to 11

Joseph City waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the BASIS Flagstaff Yetis 86-6. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Yetis are ranked 306th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Joseph City's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaydiana Kinlicheenie, who went 6 for 8 on her way to 12 points and eight steals. The dominant performance gave Kinlicheenie a new career-high in points. April Neill was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to six steals and five boards.
