Basketball Recap: Water Valley Takes a Loss

Water Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 59-34 to the Vardaman Rams. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 72-21 back in December of 2024.

Water Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Vardaman, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

When Water Valley and Vardaman next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Water Valley will try to stop Bruce's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Vardaman will challenge Okolona and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
