Volleyball Recap: Wall's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wall had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Timber Lake Panthers. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-13.

Athena Simons paced Wall's offense, picking up 12 kills. Simons got some help from Taylor McDonnell and her 16 assists. McDonnell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Wall's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Timber Lake, they dropped their record down to 7-25 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Wall will face off against Crazy Horse on Monday. As for Timber Lake, they will square off against Dupree at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
