Basketball Recap: Bluefield Beavers vs. Mingo Central Miners

Bluefield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 61-10 loss at the hands of the Mingo Central Miners. While losing is never fun, the Beavers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' West Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 99th, while the Miners are ranked 31st).

Addie Smith continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mingo Central, shooting 9-for-17 from long range and almost dropping a double-double on 38 points and nine steals.
