Volleyball Recap: Greeneview Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Greeneview and West Jefferson, and West Jefferson kept the tradition alive. The Rams took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Roughriders on Thursday. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Roughriders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Lilly Reichley paced Greeneview's offense, picking up 21 kills. Reichley got some help from Emma Ryan and her 26 assists.

Greeneview has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season. As for West Jefferson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Greeneview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Dixie on the 20th. As for West Jefferson, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tree of Life Christian on the 22nd.
