Basketball Recap: Yavneh Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Yavneh Academy entered their tilt with Highlands on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Highlands Blazers 67-46. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Darren Sacher continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. The game was his third in a row with at least 17 points. Brendy Eber was another key player, putting up four points along with seven assists and six boards.

Yavneh Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Yavneh Academy pushed their record up to 17-8 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Highlands, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
