Basketball Recap: Union City Takes a Loss

Union City won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They came up short against the Dewar Dragons, falling 53-31.

Union City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season. As for Dewar, they pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Union City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 60-58 win against Paden on the 25th. As for Dewar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 43-40 victory against Carney on the 25th.
