Basketball Game Preview: Rothsay Tigers vs. Ashby Arrows

Rothsay is 1-9 against Ashby since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rothsay Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Ashby Arrows at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with eight losses in a row dating back to last season, Rothsay turned things around against Battle Lake on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 57-37 margin over the Battlers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Tigers have posted since December 12, 2023.

Meanwhile, Ashby put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Lake Park-Audubon by a score of 76-64. That's two games straight that the Arrows have won by exactly 12 points.

Rothsay's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Ashby, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Rothsay strolled past Ashby when the teams last played back in January by a score of 69-55. Will Rothsay repeat their success, or does Ashby have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
