Stevens Point was led to victory by Jada Seubert and Leah Awe. Seubert almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Awe posted 18 points along with six boards and three blocks. The matchup was Seubert's third in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Strong, who put up eight points and five steals.

Stevens Point now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cretin-Derham Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Stevens Point has already played their next contest, a 74-60 win against Rice Lake on the 2nd. Cretin-Derham Hall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
