Softball Recap: Ross Comes Up Short

Ross lost against Clay back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Little Giants lost 9-3 to the Eagles. The Little Giants have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ross now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Clay, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ross will challenge Napoleon at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clay, they will take on St. Mary Catholic Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Falcons/Kestrels' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
