It was a proper cat-fight when WF West challenged Washougal on Tuesday. The Bearcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Bearcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 23-25, 25-19.

Having lost for the first time this season, WF West fell to 2-1. As for Washougal, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

WF West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Rochester on the 16th. As for Washougal, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Ridgefield on the 11th.
