Volleyball Recap: Turpin Wins Going Away Against Northwest

Turpin won the last time they faced Northwest and things went their way on Saturday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Turpin was: they took every set by at least 17 points. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-6, 25-3.

Maddie Steele paced Turpin's offense, picking up 14 kills. Steele got some help from Lilly Woolums and her 19 assists. Grace Herzog controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

Turpin's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Northwest, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Turpin will take on Western Brown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
