Softball Recap: GMG Comes Up Short

If GMG was feeling good fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Dunkerton on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wolverines lost 14-2 to the Don Bosco Dons on Wednesday. The Wolverines have struggled against the Dons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

GMG's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Don Bosco, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Coming up, GMG will head out to face off against North Tama at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Don Bosco, they will welcome Clarksville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Indians' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Dons' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
