Volleyball Recap: Memorial Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Memorial lost against Shawnee back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roughriders lost 3-0 to the Indians. The Roughriders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-10.

Maddie Maher paced Memorial's offense, picking up six kills. Maher got some help from Audra Clark and her 13 assists. Maher was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Shawnee, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Memorial is set to challenge their familiar foe Kenton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Shawnee will take on rival Van Wert at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
