While Scotia-Glenville might've come up empty on Thursday, Hayden Sladewski wasn't going down without a fight. Sladewski turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 15 over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Sladewski and Scotia-Glenville will head out to square off against South Glens Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Sladewski's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Tartans' five-game streak of wins at home.
