Basketball Recap: Rhinelander Comes Up Short

Rhinelander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 64-56 to the Medford Raiders. The Hodags were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 63-58.

Rhinelander's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Medford, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rhinelander will challenge Antigo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Medford has already played their next game (against Lakeland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
