While Concord's victory against NorthWood wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Minutemen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 win over the Panthers on Monday. The Minutemen haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Rennye Davilla II, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those RBI were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Flores, who went 1-for-2 with two runs.

Concord now has a winning record of 3-2. As for NorthWood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Concord is set to square off against their familiar foe Plymouth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, NorthWood will take on rival Northridge at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
