Crete-Monee came out on top against Thornwood on Monday thanks in part to Carlos Aguilar's efforts. Aguilar scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-2, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases.

Aguilar's strong effort led Crete-Monee over Thornwood and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors are 8-2 against the Thunderbirds going back to April of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
