After a string of four wins, St. Charles East's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Park Lancers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-45 back in December of 2024.

St. Charles East's loss dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Lake Park, their win bumped their record up to 10-16.

St. Charles East will square off against St. Charles North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Charles East is facing St. Charles North at the right time seeing as St. Charles North is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Lake Park, they will challenge Glenbard North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Park will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Glenbard North will have lost four straight heading into Friday's contest.
