Basketball Recap: Ririe Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Ririe extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Eden Jensen. The Bulldogs rang in the new year with a 47-34 victory over the North Fremont Huskies on Tuesday for which the team can thank Jensen, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ririe's points.

Niciah Young was another key player, putting up six points in addition to eight boards and four steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

Ririe's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for North Fremont, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-6 record.

Ririe has already played their next contest, a 65-28 victory against West Jefferson on the 8th. As for North Fremont, they will look to defend their home court on the 16th against Firth at 7:00 p.m.
