Basketball Recap: Echo Takes a Loss

Echo lost against Heppner back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Echo Cougars took a 60-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heppner Mustangs. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Echo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Heppner, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Echo will finish 2024 at home by hosting Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Heppner, they will welcome Knappa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
