Benson has gone 8-2 against Bisbee recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Friday. The Bobcats will venture away from home to  face off against the Pumas  at 4:00  p.m. Benson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10  runs per game  this season.
Benson couldn't beat Round Valley  on Wednesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the second inning. The Bobcats took  a  14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elks. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Elks: they've now lost three in a row.
 Benson got a  massive  performance out of  Karris Taylor, who  fired off two  home runs and five  RBI while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Millie Kellogg, who  went 4-for-5 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Bisbee came up short against  Willcox on Tuesday, falling  25-5. The Pumas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Alyssa Lopez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of  Maria Lopez, who  went 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Benson's defeat dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Bisbee, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.
Friday's   match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Benson hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .372. However, it's not like Bisbee struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .410. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Benson suffered a grim  12-3 defeat to Bisbee  in their previous meeting  back in March. Can the Bobcats avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
