Altha is 1-9 against Wewahitchka since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Gators at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Altha has five straight victories, Wewahitchka has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Altha proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 20) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Leon 6-5.

Tarrin McCrone spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and four unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.
