Basketball Recap: Victor Valley Takes a Loss

Victor Valley suffered their biggest defeat since November 18, 2024 on Wednesday. They were outmatched by the Silverado Hawks and fell 69-41. The game marked the Jackrabbits' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Victor Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore JESIAH HYDER posted ten points. HYDER continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Victor Valley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-13. As for Silverado, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

Victor Valley will face off against Barstow at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. Victor Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season. Silverado has already played their next contest, a 69-35 win against Granite Hills on the 24th.
