Baseball Recap: Helias Comes Up Short

Helias managed to slip by Smith-Cotton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crusaders came up short against the Tigers on Tuesday, falling 15-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Crusaders have suffered since April 17, 2024.

Helias dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Smith-Cotton, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-6.

While Helias had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
