After dropping their season opener at home, Louisburg is headed out to face a Eagles squad ready to give their home crowd a win. The matchup between Warren County and Vance Charter didn't end well, with Warren County falling 53-38.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Mariah Harris, who posted four points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ciara Howard, who scored nine points.

Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Oxford Prep out of the water with a 63-34 final score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Warriors had established a 25-point advantage.

Louisburg's win came from a few key players Warren County will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tamela Person, who earned 23 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Braelyn Walker, who put up 16 points along with seven boards and six assists.

Louisburg was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oxford Prep only posted four.
