Game recap: La Habra High School Football Team defeats Gahr

CERRITOS, Calif. - La Habra (Calif.) took an early lead against Gahr (Cerritos, Calif.) and held on for a 43-14 victory on Saturday.

The Highlanders put up seven points in the opening quarter. La Habra scored on a rushing touchdown.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, LH led 23-7 at the half.

The Highlanders expanded their lead to 29 points entering the fourth quarter. La Habra scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by Carlos Martin.

The victory was a step in the right direction for LH, which was coming off a 46-21 defeat at the hands of Mission Viejo in its previous game.
