Villa Madonna and Bellevue are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Vikings will host the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Villa Madonna and Dayton had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Vikings put the hurt on the Greendevils with a sharp 17-8 victory on Wednesday. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Greendevils recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Bellevue, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Robertson County 20-9 on Saturday.

Bellevue got a massive performance out of Kylee Schehr, who went 1-for-4 with four runs and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Schehr a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Chloe Reed, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Bellevue is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Villa Madonna, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Villa Madonna came out on top in a nail-biter against Bellevue in their previous meeting back in March, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
