Berkeley had lost ten games on the road dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 3-6 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 20-19 victory over the Tennyson Lancers. The Yellowjackets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lancers, too.

The critical scores for Berkeley came from JAYCEON ATKINS, ELLIOT GERBELOT, and AZIEL [Z] TOEAINA.

As for Tennyson, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6. Despite 95 more yards than Berkeley, the Lancers couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Despite the loss, Tennyson still got an impressive performance from Montrell Rice-Tuigamala, who rushed for 210 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 11.7 yards per carry. Rice-Tuigamala's longest rush was for an incredible 81 yards.

Berkeley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 23-7 loss against James Logan on the 7th. As for Tennyson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 34-6 defeat against Moreau Catholic on the 7th.
