Volleyball Recap: Clemens Comes Up Short

Clemens lost against Harlan back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Buffaloes fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 2-1.

Claire Untereiner paced Clemens' offense, picking up eight kills. Untereiner really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with seven. Emily Corkill controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Clemens' defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Harlan, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Clemens has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against McAllen Memorial on the 23rd. As for Harlan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against United on the 23rd.
