Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson lost against Mill Creek back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dragons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks.

Mill Creek was led to victory by MJ Lynch and Mary Katherine Herold. Lynch had nine digs and two assists, while Herold had six assists and five digs. That's the most digs Herold has posted over her last eight matches.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Mill Creek, they moved to 8-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Jefferson has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Hebron Christian on the 26th. As for Mill Creek, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Winder-Barrow at 5:00 p.m.
