Basketball Recap: Loreauville Comes Up Short

Loreauville has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were dealt a 62-27 defeat at the hands of the Catholic - N.I. Panthers on Tuesday. The Tigers lost against the Panthers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 65-51 score last time.

Loreauville's loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Catholic - N.I., the win got them back to even at 13-13.

Loreauville is taking a road trip to challenge Franklin on Friday. As for Catholic - N.I., they will host West St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West St. Mary will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Catholic - N.I. surely won't give up without a fight.
