Football Game Preview: Fullerton Indians vs. Beckman Patriots + Official Tickets

The Fullerton Indians will take on the Beckman Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Fullerton sitting on five straight wins and Beckman on seven.

Fullerton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They took down La Quinta 38-21.

Fullerton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caden Wise led the charge by rushing for 85 yards on only 11 carries, while also picking up 79 receiving yards. Wise also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending one pass. Another back making a difference was Evan Tellez-Soria, who rushed for 69 yards and two TDs on only six carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Fullerton was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 272 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as La Quinta only rushed for 165.

Fullerton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Tellez-Soria and Julian Bohlmann.

Meanwhile, Beckman made easy work of La Mirada on Friday and carried off a 41-21 victory. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Fullerton's record now sits at 9-2. As for Beckman, their record is now 8-3.

Fullerton might still be hurting after the 34-14 loss they got from Beckman when the teams last played back in October. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Patriots' Makhi Czaykowski, who rushed for 165 yards and four scores on only 14 carries, and also picked up 50 receiving yards and one touchdown.
