Volleyball Recap: Miramonte Comes Up Short

Miramonte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Castro Valley Trojans.

Miramonte's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Castro Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Miramonte didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Archie Williams on the 29th. As for Castro Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Bishop O'Dowd on the 29th.
