Horizon has gone a perfect 6-0 against Notre Dame Prep recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Horizon will venture away from home to challenge Notre Dame Prep at 3:45 p.m. Horizon has given up an average of 7.1 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Horizon is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Pinnacle just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Pioneers, falling 19-13. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (ten), the Huskies still had to take the loss.

Lexi Nolen led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Kaia Stephens was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

While Notre Dame Prep didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on Willcox with a sharp 9-2 victory on Friday. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

Notre Dame Prep's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. As for Horizon, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Horizon was able to grind out a solid victory over Notre Dame Prep when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 4-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Horizon since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
