Softball Recap: West Branch Comes Up Short

West Branch's last matchup with Boardman could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Warriors lost 13-3 to the Spartans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Josie Milliken was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

West Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Boardman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

West Branch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boardman, they will take on Roosevelt in a tournament on Thursday.
