Basketball Recap: ALA - Ironwood Skates Past Tuba City with Ease

ALA - Ironwood's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Tuba City Warriors 61-27.

ALA - Ironwood had a senior duo take command as Porter Lee went 6 of 12 en route to 17 points and six rebounds and Noah Adkins posted ten points and four steals. Adkins is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Curtis Coplin, who put up eight points.

Tuba City lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Tyler Tsinnie, who had eight points. Another player making a difference was Marai Bilagody, who posted seven points.

ALA - Ironwood now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Tuba City, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

ALA - Ironwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-50 win against Crismon on the 30th. As for Tuba City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 81-42 defeat against Show Low on the 3rd.
