Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only South Bend Adams walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Concord Minutemen a 1-0 shutout on Wednesday. Give South Bend Adams' defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Antonio Juarez, who's now up to seven this season.

South Bend Adams has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those 13 matchups. As for Concord, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 14-4-1.
